Changed Lives! Thats what the Plymouth Heights church is about. We desire to be found cooperating with the Holy Spirit in creating divine moment's in Christ's church where someone's life can be changed for all eternity.

Worshipping
God, cooperating with the Holy Spirit, creating an atmosphere of worship, encouraging and equipping Christians, and evangelizing our communities for Christ. The Lord has blessed us with a warm and Living God, but also are overwhelmed with the Love of Christ expresssed by those who call the Plymoutth Heights church home. In 1962 Rev.E.O. Nellie Altic stepped out on faith and "Lived dangerously for the Lord" planting the Plymouth Heights Church here in Franklin Furnace community on the beautiful banks of the Ohio River and how God has blessed and used the church since that day. Terri, Joe, Stephanie, and I have been blessed and honored to be a part of this great church for the ten years, and we look forward to what the Lord has in store for our community and our world as we wait and serve the Lord together.

Pastor Andy Ramey

On March 11, 2012 Plymouth Heights Church of the Nazarene, 25 Arnett Drive, Franklin Furnace, Ohio welcomed Rev. and Mrs. Andy Ramey as the church’s new pastoral family. Rev. Andy Ramey is an ordained minister in the Church of the Nazarene and is the new senior pastor of the church. He has been in full time ministry for almost fourteen years. He and his wife, Rachel, have been married for twelve years and are the parents of two beautiful children, Drew, age 11 and Emilee, age 7. Rachel is also a special needs teacher and plays a large role in the ministry at Plymouth Heights as she assists Rev. Ramey in his work.

Rev. Ramey stated, “We are so excited to be a part of such a terrific church. We are striving to not simply be a church in Franklin Furnace but THE church of Franklin Furnace. We want the people in our community and all around us to know that this is their church. Already we have seen great things happening through the ministries of our church. We work with the STAR Community Justice Center; we have a great food pantry ministry with the Neighbor to Neighbor program, and we have excellent youth and teen programs. We have just celebrated the Easter season where our church choir and drama team performed an Easter drama, “Bow the Knee” and we saw 30 people won to the Lord”.

Rev. Ramey concluded, saying, “There are many great things that the Lord has for us as we move forward. In late September, 2012, Plymouth Heights Church of the Nazarene will be celebrating its 50th year anniversary. We anticipate many wonderful things to come as we do our best to love God, love people and introduce the world to Christ”.
